Ethan....Yes I finally saw him!

Well, last Monday I finally got to see Ethan! (see picture for proof) He is perfect. I really can't believe how much he looks like Colby. Also, understand that we didn't get to see Colby at this stage of life so this is very exciting. Colby is right in love with him. As are the rest of us. Grammy thought we was perfect as well...she will have 3 great grandsons by the end of the year so she is enjoying that. The other picture I have included is of Luke, Bess, Colby, Ethan and Grammy S. (My mom's mom) enjoying a little visit.

Looooooong Week

Well, what can I say except that I am soooooooo happy it is Friday. Steve and I have been out way too much over the last two weeks. So we are going to have a down day tomorrow! We like to call it PJ Day! I have Chili all set to go into the crock pot tomorrow morning w/some corn bread. The weather has gotten cool quick so time to break out that crock pot. We have a few movies to watch as well. Here's hoping we can leave the heat off until November 1st. (I think this is wishful thinking). I've started cross stitching again I forgot how much I enjoyed it! Sounds like a good idea for Christmas presents. Well, I'm going to get back to the Red Sox game....could it be that our beloved Red Sox could go all the way again! Now if that can happen and then the Patriots win and maybe the Bruins??????? That would be a good year for New England! Oops forgot about the Celtics......

Sunday Afternoon Delight!

Anyone that knows us well knows that Sunday is Nap Day at our house! I really hope when we have children they nap....I'm sure all of you with children are laughing.

We have been dog sitting this weekend for our friends Scott & Esther's dog Mia. She was great! She and Tut (our cat) get along great! They chase each other around the house one chases one direction the other one back! Really fun to watch especially since Mia is about 3 feet tall and about 50 pounds and Tut is about a 13 pound cat. By the second day they slept on the bed together for a little nap. Esther I'm sure, appreciates that we let the dog on the bed (a special treat at our house).

Saturday we went to a wedding and did the pictures for them. It was an outside wedding and you could not have asked for a more perfect fall day in Maine. It was in the hight sixties to low seventies. After that we headed over to our friends house for dinner and to move their TV. They got the fall moving bug. The room looks great guys!

So back to today. After church we came home and made pumpkin chocolate chip cookies and pumpkin bread and sat down to watch the Patriots game. Well, I made it through maybe the first half of the first period and I was out and took a 3 hour nap! Good news is I feel really rested and the Patriots won! The Red Sox are up 2-0 at the top of the sixth and boy if they win today that makes my life at work much easier tomorrow. So for all good New England fans, with the Patriots win, the Red Sox winning and the hope of the New York Yankees loosing it will have been a good weekend!

Well, time to think about dinner......

Busy week....What day is it..............

Well, it is Wednesday and I already feel like it should be Friday! We have started using a new
system at work so we are running two at the same time so that means double the work! Oh, fun more work and no more pay...got to love Corporate America! I think we actually might get to be home together on Thursday this week...Hi I'm Jessica and your name is??????????? Oh, Steve the great guy I married. Nice to see you again. It is just amazing how quickly time goes by it seems like you blink and the weekend is over and your back to the grind. I don't think you can ever have to much vacation time. Anyway, hopefully we will get down to see Ethan and Colby sometime in the next couple of weeks that kid is going to be a year old before I see him at this rate! That is all for now.
